Every module is “coded” or “VIN-locked” to the specific car it came from. Plugging in a new or used module will, at best, not work, and at worst, immobilise the entire vehicle.

- Module Replacement & Coding
Have you been told you need a new ABS pump, Body Control Module (BCM), or Comfort Control Module (CCM)? We are the experts in this process.
- The Problem: Your original module is water-damaged, burnt out, or has an internal fault. A replacement (even a used one) won’t work because its security data and VIN don’t match your car’s.
- Our Solution: We are one of the few specialists who can:
- Code Brand New Modules: We can program a new, blank module from the dealer to work with your car’s keys and security system.
- Clone Your Original Module: Where possible, we can “clone” all the data from your old, faulty module and transfer it to a compatible used module. This creates a “plug-and-play” part that saves you thousands.
- Code Second-Hand Modules: Dealers won’t touch used parts. We can! We can “virginise” a used module (wipe its old data) and then professionally program it to your vehicle, saving you a fortune on parts.
- Component Adaptations & Calibration
This is the crucial step after coding. “Adaptation” is the process of fine-tuning or calibrating a new component to your specific vehicle.
We perform essential adaptations for:
- New Battery Registration: A modern car needs to be told it has a new battery. If not, it will overcharge it, and your new battery will fail in months.
- Electronic Steering Racks & Sensors: A new steering angle sensor must be calibrated to “centre,” or your ABS and traction control lights will stay on.
- Electronic Throttle Bodies: Must be adapted to learn their “idle” and “full-throttle” positions.
- Diesel Injector Coding: When a new injector is fitted, its unique calibration code must be programmed into the ECU for correct fueling and a smooth idle.
- Feature Enabling & Retrofit Coding
This is the exciting part. Your vehicle often has “hidden” features built into its software that were not enabled at the factory. We can activate them for you.
